Chess and Checkers!

I said earlier that I am a castle nut, and that includes this ancient game, my personal favorite ever: Chess!
This incredible model uses some of the most up-to-date pieces and techniques to accurately capture the ornate detailing on the sides of the board as well as the pieces (I am particularly fond of the way that the iconic knight has been captured). Please support this project and help bring chess (and checkers) back into the Lego Universe.
The creator of this amazing model is SuperSendyManDude.

Working Padlock!

Today, we move back into product ideas with a bang (Or, as it is, a click) with this one of a kind Working Padlock! This incredible model by The Brick Brothers features the super realistic over sized padlock in the really unique coloring that reminds me of, to be honest, those old construction site sets (2008 series); and, I mean, hey! it works! Can you ask for more?

Additional features: the key is keyed (no pun intended 😄) so it only fits into the key hole one way; there are "glass" peep holes on both sides so you can see how it works; there are green/red pieces to show weather or not the lock is, um, locked, and; a super realistic prick-built chain.

To support this incredible model, click the link above (or the one below), and then click on the big blue "SUPPORT" button in the upper right-hand corner.

If you would like to see it in action, watch this video.

Tour at the Container Terminals!

Today, I am excited to share an unusual build with you: Tour at the Container Terminals by ExeSandbox! Unlike previous posts, this incredible model was actually put on Lego Ideas as a contest entry (The Ultimate Tour!), meaning that it does not need your support, but you can still check it out by clicking on the link above.

Quite honestly, all of the intricate details that went into this model while still keeping such a MAMMOTH scale is mind blowing! The bike, the star of the contest, is built with such intricate details that I still can't quite figure it out! Overall, the model is incredibly realistic and the renderings are out of this world. I am speechless.

Also, be sure to check out ExeSandbox's amazing Spongebob Squarepants - The Krusty Krab, a model that shot through to 10,000 votes, and is currently being reviewed by Lego experts.

I highly encourage you to go to ExeSandbox's profile and click the "follow" button to stay tuned to all of his amazing models.
